I’ve experienced first hand what it’s like to have negative and incompetent mentors who were about power and control. The lesson I learnt was to do the opposite of what they did. Every creative young person needs encouragement and feedback that allows them to take creative risks. Failure is the shadow of success. Life is my creative backdrop, it is through life I find inspiration and delve into that place of curiosity without fear.

 

Phoenix is a place where young people are encouraged to be awesome, to explore their creative potential  in an environment that challenges them.  It’s not for the faint hearted or for individual’s looking for a quick fix. Phoenix is a hive of creative energy with a diverse range of innovative dance, drama and music.
